Visual Merchandising Intern_6 months

Job description

This is a great opportunity for Fashion, Design and Visual Arts students that are willing to build their career in Visual Merchandising field. Based in Gucci MEAI office in Dubai, the successful candidate will gain hands on experience in luxury fashion industry, while supporting the MEAI Visual Merchandising Manager on a day to day basis.

50% of the role is based at the office covering the following key tasks:

· Prepare reports through compiling and editing of store photos
· Compiling data and images from regional VM to
· Coordination of seasonal visual tool orders and deliveries to / from the stores
· Updating the VM calendar and setting weekly schedules of the team
· Compiling and maintaining visual folders up to date
· Following up with stores for monthly submissions and providing feedback for action 50% of the time you will be based in the stores covering the following tasks :

· Supporting seasonal visual set-ups and window installations
· Providing assistance in visual set-up of the events and 1-2-1 appointment set-ups in stores

Desired profile

Passion for fashion and up to date knowledge of the brand.

You must be eager and curious to learn Visual Merchandising skills and how VM is integrated into other functions such as buying and retail management.

Good communications skills in English language (both verbal and written) is essential.

Basic work knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook are required.
