Schoonrewoerd is the driving force behind the Leerdammer brand: the centre where Research, Marketing and Operations are working together in close cooperation with country teams and the central Bel Group divisions. Bel's brands in the Netherlands are La Vache Qui Rit, Leerdammer, Port Salut and Mini Babybel.

For our Innovation Centre in Schoonrewoerd we are looking for a result oriented Jr. innovation Cheese Technologist (M/F) - 12 months V.I.E. (International Working Program) from April 2019.

Main duties
At the Research & Innovation Department, you will produce the best-selling dairy products of the future by creating unique experiences for consumers through sustainable competitive technical advantages. As part of this duty, you will be responsible for delivering ‘On-Time In-Full' innovation projects for one of the Bel Group's five core brands.

In the position of Junior Innovation Technologist you are in charge of several development cheese projects:
- You will contribute with ideas, manage and/or execute challenging projects related to our Innovation and renovation and Industrial Excellence portfolio.
- You will especially focus on to create new responsible and superior products (ex: nutritional improvements and shelf life extension), developing new product for new market or study and implement new process to reach the operational excellence in our factories.
- You will report to the Development Center Manager.
- You will cultivate a positive, solutions-focused team spirit to boost the project team's commitment and performance.

Profil recherché

Your profile
You are an engineer specialised in agrifoods, processes, or industrial project management, with experience in innovation project management and/or industrial implementation in the agrifoods industry. You are familiar with project management tools and methods and have knowledge of the main dairy and cheese technologies. You have a proven ability to follow a rigorous scientific approach.

You are recognised for your dynamism and creativity, and you know how to create a climate of trust and get your message across while taking different points of view into account. You should have good enough English to host meetings and create presentation materials.}
