Role Summary/Purpose

Activities contributing to the design and development of products and their interaction with the human body. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function. Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. 
·  Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties. 
·  Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
·  Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelors or Masters in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience with 3-5 years of Exp 
·  Knowledgeable in AC/DC electrical systems, power distribution and maintenance for high voltage equipments.
·  Extensive experience is mixed signal board design.
·  Steep knowledge of Motor controls, Drives and UPS Backups as well as of charging batteries.
·  Hands on experience designing battery chargers with knowledge on charging methods 
·  Working experience with PWA/PWB and subsystem design techniques and EMC Circuit design and simulation tool experience 
·  Knowledge of UL/ETL/IEC standards and how they apply to designs 
·  Working knowledge of GEHC tools and processes EQPM, ePDM, Cadence 
·  Knowledge of different battery chemistry like lithium, lead acid , Nickel Cadmium is desirable 
·  Hands on experience on PFC boost chargers and Single phase & 3phase inverter designs. 
·  Knowledge or work experience in prototyping tools like LabVIEW will be desirable.
·  Hands on experience in designing different Power converter topologies such as PFC boost converter is desirable.
