Role Summary/Purpose
This position will serve as the deep domain & industry expert related to supplier processes and industry best practices for Surgery within the Salt Lake City site, including the development, communication and execution of strategies to ensure the realization of the business objectives. It is a key technical position, affecting part quality for both installed base and NPI parts.
Essential Responsibilities

• Leading the development & execution of supplier quality strategies that delivers a competitive advantage driving the strategic supplier initiatives, this includes supplier selection, development, supplier audits, leading the remediation efforts of an under-performing supplier, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance
• Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance and developing improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with required external and internal stakeholders to ensure that customer requirements are understood and achieved – Suppliers, Engineering, Service, Manufacturing and Sourcing
• Driving improvements in supplier quality processes
Assuring supplier compliance to GE Healthcare QMS and regulatory requirements
Assuring Corrective and Preventive Action plans are developed and executed at suppliers in compliance with SCAR process
• Ability to travel approximately 15%

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• 3 years of work experience with technical depth/knowledge in supplier
commodities, or 3 years of Commercial Sourcing, Supply Chain or Engineering
experience

• Minimum of 7 years of commercial sourcing or supplier capability experience in all facets
of the assigned commodities
• Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
• Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
• Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
• Experience implementing a compliant supply chain
• Greenbelt certification preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Strong emotional intelligence
