Role Summary/Purpose
The Intern will primarily be responsible for carrying out supporting HW engineering activities for patient monitoring products. Activities include MTBF and other reliability analysis work as well as other HW Engineering tasks.
Essential Responsibilities
· MTBF analysis on patient monitor hardware (electronics)
· Tasks related to reliability testing of patient monitor hardware (electronics)
· Hardware testing and documenting activities defined by the project needs
Desired profile
Qualifications/Requirements
· M.Sc or B.Sc student in relevant Engineering field (Electrical, Electronics, etc.)
· Fluent in English, both written and oral
· Knowledge on electronics reliability principles, analysis and testing
· Ability and skills to use normal measurement equipment used on electronics engineering (DMM, oscilloscope, etc.)
· interest and enthusiasm in hardware and computer technology
Desired Characteristics
· Understanding the basics of human physiology, clinical parameters and patient monitoring
