Role Summary/Purpose

This position is for a Staff Technical Project Manager who will work on MICT Digital & Cybersecurity programs to build secure solutions spanning the Device, Edge & Cloud.

Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes.
Partners with functional product owners to define features backlog and requirements, works with technical teams to ensure outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality.
Essential Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in specifying requirements and defining features backlog. 
2. Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources. 
3. Plan, track & report program execution in Scaled Agile Framework based software development and ensure Agile ceremonies are followed. Facilitate Sprint planning and Release train planning. 
4. Work with product management, product owners, architects and business owners to help assure strategy and execution alignment. 
5. Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary. 
6. Work with globally located technical team sometimes comprising of members in separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan. 
7. Ensure program quality practices with the teams and bring visibility into key quality metrics. 
8. Resolve and/or escalate impediments. Manage project risks, dependencies, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project. 
9. Manages daily activities, issue resolution & communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time  
10. Act as an Agile Coach to the program core team and encourage team collaboration. 
11. Ensuring that the product development process abides to the Engineering Quality Procedures, Phased Review Discipline (PRD) and regulatory needs of the applicable markets.  
12. Develop and execute software configuration management strategy. Ensure continuous integration of software through CI framework. 
13. Coordinate Software release activities. Drive customer pilots and product field delivery.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). 
• Minimum 5 years of software design & development experience working with cross-functional teams. 
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Software Development Project Management. 
• Experience in leading projects with global teams using Agile development methodology. 
• Proven experience in delivering measurable business outcomes. 
• Product software development experience in Java/J2EE, scripting (Python/Perl/Shell) in Linux. 
• Experience in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle. 
• Demonstrated ability to build lasting cross-functional relationships, including strong influential and communication skills. 
• Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle.
Desired Characteristics

• PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications 
• Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources 

• Strong influencing skills, ability to negotiate with project teams & stakeholders when there is a conflict.
• Demonstrated experience as Release Train Engineer and/or scrum master in Agile software development. 
• Experience with Git, Clearcase or Perforce configuration management. 
• Experience with Continuous integration experience with Electric Commander or Jenkins. 
• Demonstrated experience with medical device product software development. 
• Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions,
anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans 

• Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program. 
• Knowledge of GE Healthcare engineering tools and processes (QMS). 
• Attention to detail and ability work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments.
