Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for the design and development of software applications for EMS and DMS products.
Essential Responsibilities

•• Act as a member and leader in Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high-quality design and development practices.
• Architect, design, code and deploy full-scale systems based on critical business outcomes.
• Build technology the right way: means simple, well-tested services that gradually grow over time, and that provide plenty of insight into production performance.
• Provides input to technical lead on schedules and cost estimates.
• Mentors junior staff.
Qualifications/Requirements

• B Tech/BE/ME/M.Tech in Electrical/Computer science Engineering from a reputed institute.
• Have a minimum 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with C++ programming. Knowledge on Perl, Python etc.
• Have a strong exposure to Enterprise Java platform, UX/UI technologies like Javascript ES6, React.js, Angular, Node.js.
• Have designed applications using Microservice Architecture, Domain Driven Design, REST APIs and containerization of services.

• Exposure to power systems and/or energy management systems and experience with electric utility industry practices
• Delivered responsive solutions using Agile Methodology.
• Strong knowledge of customer perspective and needs.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to write professional and technical reports and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
