Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for programing a component, feature and or feature set. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Contributes to design discussions.
Essential Responsibilities

Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members
Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices.
Helps drive pair programming practices and code reviews across the team.
Demonstrates awareness or product positioning and key differentiators.
Expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
Skilled in core data structures and algorithms and implements them using appropriate chosen language.
Promotes transparency by proactively sharing design choices with appropriate audiences, with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.
Demonstrates expert understanding of functional and nonfunctional requirements and their priority within the backlog.
This position requires a keen sense of technology and is able to solve difficult problems. This person will engage with Architects, QA and Product Management.
Analyze and understand product requirements, and convert functional & technical design documents into robust JavaScript based applications
Partner with other framework teams to ensure optimal design and execution. The position requires working in Agile projects. Familiarity with automation and continuous release is highly desired.
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience
At least 3 years of strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, web application frameworks, web services (SOAP/REST).
Experience in building React based applications.
Experience with building/refactoring single page applications for maintainability and performance
Experience with cloud computing platform such as Force.com, Amazon or Zoho
Experience in writing re-usable, modualarized code with focus on scale, robustness etc
Strong ability to learn new technology in short time
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a globally distributed team environment, liaising with on-site teams and customers
Desired Characteristics

Experience with Sencha / ExtJS, any relational database.
Experience with mobile application development Scrum methodology
Development experience in APEX, VisualForce in SFDC would be an advantage.
Experience in any CRM solution such as Siebel, PeopleSoft, Oracle or Sales
