Role Summary/Purpose

Lead and manage three strategic areas across BHGE’s global environment – Data Protection, Network Security, and Cloud Architecture. Provide ownership and strategic direction to the implementation of best-practices to mitigate risk across our three distinct environments – Enterprise Architecture, OT/Factory environments, and Predix. Deep technical knowledge of the above areas. Proven experience in implementing security changes across a large organization.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Define strategy and technology roadmap for Data Protection, Network Security, and Cloud Architecture 
·  Provide technical leadership to deliver architectural solutions to project managers operating different infrastructure and operational environments. 
·  Establish an architectural and program roadmap to deliver against business priorities in a cost effective and risk-based manner. 
·  Lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and be a recognized Subject Matter Expert. 
·  Represent BHGE interests on GE wide initiatives and act as a liaison to the GE Digital IT Risk & Cyber Security team 
·  Execute and prioritize work, recognizing the capacity of your organization, to meet deadlines 
·  Collaborate with government and industry peers to promote data protection, secure collaboration and cyber intelligence sharing 
·  Continually evaluate new threats, solutions and the impact on IT/OT and business operations and balancing these needs to develop and implement the best security solutions for the business 
·  Communicate and present to executive leadership 
·  Liaise with Enterprise Architects and Security Architects to build and continuously update security controls to meet new threats 
·  Familiarity with DoE, NRC, NIST, DHS, & ISO 2700x security requirements and risk management frameworks
Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications
·  Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited College or University OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience 
·  Minimum of 9 years of strong IT Security experience and staff leadership, including 3+ years leading a data protection, cloud architecture, and/or network security role.
Essential Responsibilities

Desired Characteristics

·  Proven experience in staff and performance management, financial management, supplier/vendor management
·  Experience with secure network architectures, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS, SOA, database and web applications 
·  Experience with data loss prevention, cloud technologies, security metrics, secure architecture and design, secure software development 
·  Experience with ethical hacking, firewall and intrusion detection / prevention technologies and threat modeling 
·  Broad background in the following areas: computer / OS security, network security, hardware security, firmware security, and embedded platform security 
·  Understanding of engineering product lifecycle management (PLM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems 
·  Familiar with CISCO and Palo Alto Network infrastructure device (routers, switches, firewall) 
·  CISSP or CISM certified 
·  Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) 
·  Knowledge of anti-virus and system security and data safety 
·  Familiarity with DoE, NRC, NIST, DHS security requirements 
·  Experience managing / developing IT budgets 
·  Proven ability to deliver while under tight timelines 
·  Demonstrated ability to proactively analyze and solve complex problems 
·  Persuasive communication skills, listening and negotiation skills in order to articulate ideas and thoughts clearly through various means, including written and oral communications with all levels of the organization 
·  Ability to work in a fast paced, performance / quality driven environment 
·  Strong organizational, consultative and collaboration skills 
·  Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff 
·  Recognized by staff and peers as a strong and effective leader. 
·  Ability to relate business requirements and risks to technology for investigation-related issues 
·  Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the security team's concern for customers
