Role Summary/Purpose

The Sourcing Manager will work as the local owner for sourcing for all commodities & business segments for Dung Quat plant, including the development, communication & execution of strategy to ensure realization of the business objectives, which includes support supplier negotiations, contracts, establish suppliers strategies. In this role the incumbent will develop & integrate processes that meet business needs across the organization, involved in long-term planning & overall business strategy
Essential Responsibilities

- Be responsible for the overall sourcing activities in Dung Quat plant: compliance, quality, delivery & cost
- Lead team of SQEs & Buyers to support daily fulfillment needs in factory
- Build up and monitor sourcing process to ensure compliance of sourcing activities
- Drive improvements in sourcing processes including escalations due to delivery/quality issues, invoicing/payable issues, and database management
- Lead local team and work closely with global sourcing team to continuously improve the supplier performance in quality/delivery/cost
- Lead the development & execution of the sourcing strategies that delivers a competitive advantage
- Drive the strategic supplier initiatives including, supplier selection, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance
- Drive localization projects in Vietnam for Dung Quat plant
- People development: plan/develop/organize team structure to guarantee the business development need is met. Build up the right expertise in the team to manage execution
- Support factory NPI projects
- Prepare SII/OP/BP Plan
- Function cost control
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor/master’s degree (Technical or Economics)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, minimum 2 years leadership experience, proven track record in managing change, implementation of new processes
- High ethical standards
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Quick problem-solving and excellent analytical skills
- Teamwork, ability to lead and direct multi-functional teams
- Ability to work in high stress situations
- Change agent
- Excellent English and Vietnamese both in verbal and written
