Role Summary/Purpose

The Service Manager is responsible for all aspects of execution of Maintenance Events.
Maintenance Events may include planned and unplanned outages, equipment repairs, extra works and equipment upgrades and modifications.
The Service Manager serves as the Project Manager, responsible for the planning, execution, reporting and close out of Maintenance Events
Essential Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:
• Coordinate with the relevant CPM/CSM/PM to help identify the Maintenance Event scope of works.
• Manage the works at site in line with this schedule.
• Ensure that at all times, the performance of the works in aligned and compliant to BHGE HSE requirements, policies and procedures.
• Ensure the timely procurement and delivery of parts and materials for the Maintenance Event.
• Work with the relevant Resource Managers and Mobilisation Coordinators to ensure timely arrival of Field Services Engineers, craft labour, third party resources to the project, in line with scope of work, schedule and budget requirements.
• Organise the provision of all tooling, as per contract/project needs.
• Ensure that BHGE internal operational reporting requirements for the performance of the maintenance event are consistently met. These requirements may include Technical Briefs, Daily Reports, Technical debriefs and Field Service Reports.
• Ensure that the Site FSE Team and BHGE Engineering Resources working efficiently and effectively to resolve all technical issues identified during the project execution.
• Communicate with the customer in a timely manner regarding the planning, performance and close-out of the Maintenance Event. Ensure that communications are aligned with CPM/CSM/PM.
• Plan and execute the project in accordance with cost and productivity targets.
• Manage the identification, scoping, planning and execution of Extra Works that arise during the Maintenance Events.
Qualifications/Requirements

Scope of Responsibility
Each Service manager shall be aligned within the respective TPS Business Area – West Australia and East Australia. The Service Manager shall have full responsibility for the respective customer base for the Business Area. Consequently, he may be responsible for several Maintenance Events which may each be at different stages of preparation, execution and close out at any given time.
The customer base for the West Australia Business Area includes, but is not limited to:
• Woodside.
• Chevron (Gorgon and Wheatstone sites).
• INPEX (Onshore and Offshore facilities).
• Shell Prelude.
The customer base for the East Australia Business Area includes, but is not limited to:
• Shell (QCLNG).
• Santos (GLNG).
• Conoco Phillips (DLNG and APLNG).
• ExxonMobil (PNGLNG).

Key Relationships
The Service Manager shall be responsible to the relevant CPM/CSM/PM for the planning, execution and closure of the Maintenance Event.
The Service Manager work closely with the following functions in the performance of his role:
• Field Services Resource Managers
• Mobilisation Coordinators.
• Field Service Engineers.
• HSE Leaders and Advisors.
• BHGE Engineering Team.
• Third party resource providers.
• Customer Site Maintenance Managers.
• BHGE Sourcing Team.
• Maintenance Excellence CoE personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements:
 Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical field from an accredited university or college. Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with at least 5
years of experience in a support or maintenance engineering position.
 At least 3 years of experience in technical role(s) within Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
 Strong believe in the importance of a strong HSE culture on site.
 Aligned with BHGE culture pillars.
 Strong project management background in construction and/or heavy industry with significant site experience.
 Knowledge of BHGE equipment and operation, commissioning and start-up.
 Ability to work professionally, positively and safely under tight time constraints.
 Ability to think clearly, identify problems, plan in detail and act decisively.
 Proven history as a self-starter with strong leadership skills.
 Strong team-based orientation and focus on acting effectively pas part of a coordinated team.
 Accurate, timely and effective communication – both written and oral is essential to success in the role.
 An excellent standard of English language is required.
 Familiarity with common PC software tools.
Desired Characteristics

 Previous experience as FSE, Project Engineer in O&G Industry or Technical Support Engineer.
 Knowledge of related product support activities.
 Ability to motivate teams and convey urgency in customer needs and concerns.
