Role Summary/Purpose

As RF engineer you will be part of a development team working with electrical and electronic components and system design for cyclotron particle accelerators used in medical PET diagnostics).
Essential Responsibilities

·  Design of high voltage RF systems at 30MHz or 100MHz and power levels up to 40kW
·  Validation and verification to meet design specification, EMC and other regulatory requirements
·  Work hands on with lab work and building prototypes
·  Use Cadence and Mentor EDA tools for schematics and PCB design
·  Ensure that the RF designs meet our quality and cost goals
·  Adhere to the GEHC Quality System, using the PRDx process and the EQPM during the engineering design process
·  Participate in the planning and execution of new development projects 
·  Support product care and support to other departments on issues that relates to RF design
·  Support Environment Health and Safety (EHS) activities, as required

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Degree in Electronics or physics or equivalent working experience
·  Interest in high power RF design and cyclotrons
Desired Characteristics

·  Experience in an engineering environment
·  Experience in high power RF design
·  Knowledge in design for EMC and CE compliance
·  Design experience in schematics and PCB layout, preferably Cadence Or Cad schematics, Cadence Allegro Layout and Mentor PADS layout
·  Strong analytical and quantitative skills
·  Drive and desire to stay proficient in electrical and electronic design processes and tools
·  Excellent teamwork, coordination and collaboration skills
·  Good planning and scheduling skills
·  Strong technical documentation skills
·  Strong communication skills both in English and Swedish, written and spoken
