Role Summary/Purpose
The intern would be working for the Program Management Office (PMO) in GE Global Operations Europe. The focus of the team is to ensure execution of Regional Integration plans in adherence to project management methodology and migration framework.
Essential Responsibilities
The intern's role would be to support the Program Leader, Project Managers and Portfolio Managers in the specific assigned projects execution; gather, summarize and give visibility of status of the project and/or program and various framework deliverables, organize logistics for the migration travels, hold trainings for new joiners on the migration documentation requirements.
· Mandatory deliverable tracking for migration projects (in Smartsheet)
· Migration documentation tracking (DTP) & reporting
· Scorecard preparation for program level migrations
· Project logistic support
· Pre-migration training for migrating resources
· Support Program Leader, Project Managers, Portfolio Managers with miscellaneous requests
Desired profile
Qualifications/Requirements
· Ongoing studies Business/Management or similar (with active student enrolment for at least 1 year)
· Ability to work at least 30 hours a week
· Fluent English
· Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and networking skills
· Advanced MS-Office skills (knowledge of VBA and/or Smartsheet would be an advantage)
· Analytical mindset and attention to details
· Openness for new initiatives, fast learner, proactive
· Passion for setting and meeting ambitious goals, hard worker
· Strong work ethics with unyielding integrity
· Team player but ability to work independently and taking responsibility
