Role Summary/Purpose
The Production Supervision Manager will oversee the daily operations of the plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line and includes service shops. This role requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge as well as a developed and strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, as the Production Supervision Manager, you will :
· Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees
· Typically managing hourly employee populations
· Develops new solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
· Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done
· Delivers products as part of a team
· Works on cross functional teams
· Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Supervision or a graduate of GE's OMLP program
· Open to working second shift at an aviation repair shop (hours would be 2pm - 10pm)
