Role Summary/Purpose

The Production Control Specialist will:

·  Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials according to production schedules

·  Plan and schedule material / production needs

·  Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function

·  Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space
Essential Responsibilities

In addition, as the Production Control Specialist, you will:

·  Manage WIP planning: inventory turns, cycle reduction

·  Manage production priorities to meet delivery commitments

·  Implement & lead Smart Starts (release material to optimize flow / cycle)

·  Own aged WIP & coordinate with QC to lead dispo cage

·  Interface with shipping & receiving team

·  Own execution to build plan & assembly schedule

·  CAS interface for engines and spares

·  Optimize standard WIP on shop floor

·  Manage OV, farm out & be main contact for test operations
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution

·  This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
