Role Summary/Purpose

The role is predominately focused around Project Management. Execution and delivery to customer requirements is paramount; in particular around New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Support management of project costs, track and monitor against approved project budget and produce forecast and variance reports 
·  Support maintenance of project Risk & Opportunity Register, track and drive mitigation actions 
·  Support meeting organisation and tracking of minutes and actions 
·  Manage project trackers including action and delivery trackers, and drive actions to resolution within agreed deadlines 
·  Support process improvements within the Project Management structure 
·  Implement improvements to existing project tools and generate new tools and processes as required

Qualifications/Requirements

Degrees in any Mechanical/ Electronics/ electrical Engineering disciplines, or Business Management/ Finance/ IT, or
Business related subjects including Business Management, International Business, Business with Marketing

 

Skills Required 

·  Competent use of all Microsoft Office including Excel, outlook and PowerPoint 
·  Appreciative of Product design stages from concept design, detail design through test into volume production 
·  Driving licence would be beneficial but not essential

An individual who possesses an aptitude for learning on the job through action learning, possess an ability to roll up your sleeve and work independently would thrive in this role. 
Tenacious individual with a basic understanding of:

·  Project management disciplines  
·  Project management life cycle stages and development phases for new product introduction
·  Mechanical Engineering, product BoMs
·  Materials Engineering and ability to understand Engineering drawings, specs and Documentation 
·  Project financial costing updates, and presentations, cost control 
·  Project planning, scheduling 
·  Proficient use of MS office
