Role Summary/Purpose

The Technical Instructor will train employees, customers, and partners on Predix through online and in person class facilitation. The instructor will work with content developers, engineers, product managers, etc to establish a world class training experience. As a member of this start up team, the instructor will help to establish foundations for processes, and overall strategy for Predix training.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

·  Train customers, partners, and employees on Predix
·  Deliver training online or in person
·  Provide input and assist with content development efforts as needed
·  Deliver Linux image updates with new course files as needed
·  Schedule a regular release cycle that coincides with curriculum updates
·  Ensure environment is capable of running each lab activity written by curriculum development
·  Communicate and train other instructors on changes to environment
·  Deploy image(s) to hosting providers
·  Work within a rapidly growing training team to create scalable, & repeatable delivery models
·  Have the ability to estimate the working time required to complete a task
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, primarily Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, Design, Project Management, Documentation, Support, Security, and Marketing
·  Assist in testing, and certification

Profil recherché

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree
·  Minimum of 3 years teaching in a technical environment
·  Minimum 3 year experience working with a Linux operating system (Red Hat, SuSE, or others)
·  Minimum 3 year experience working in a software/hardware company Technical Qualifications:

·  Experience using VMWare, AWS, and/or Skytap
·  Aptitude for quickly learning new technologies
·  Experience with Cloud Foundry a plus
·  Strong presentation and classroom facilitation skills
