Role Summary/Purpose

A Materials Change Coordinator is responsible for assuring the seamless implementation and materials disruption avoidance due to engineering changes; an MCC will coordinate all the Phase In / Phase Out activities of affected parts numbers to assure OBSO Mitigation and no SCOT Impact.
Essential Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
Work with internal and external team members to coordinate the Phase In / Phase Out of materials impacted due to ECO/ECR/MCO.
Use of Oracle, MyWorkshop, Agile, SQCS, eDHR, Visual Aids & Trackwise required for daily activities.
Define and manage product lifecycle, including creation, structuring, documentation and release of parts.
Interface and coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing, Service and Supply Chain, including use of approval routes.
Tracking and overseeing engineering change requests and orders (ECR/ECO)
Tracking and overseeing supplier change requests and notices (SCR/SCN)
Attend to all change review board meetings to coordinate changes affecting the site among all design groups.
Support tool development for control of Engineering Changes affecting the site.
Partner closely with suppliers managing Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material and SCOT impacts due to ECO/ECR changes implemented.
Support all lean activities, initiatives, and action workouts
Comply with EHS regulations and policies
Qualifications/Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree
•Ability to communicate well and work with others
•Proficient in basic mathematics
•Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
•Passionate about data integrity
•Bilingual
Desired Characteristics

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience working with MyWorkshop, Agile, SQCS, or other Engineering systems
•Experience with continuous process improvement
•APICS CPIM Certification
•Oracle knowledge and experience
•Six Sigma Green Belt
•3 years of experience in Materials Replenishment Planning (MRP)
•Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control
•Ability to prioritize and handle multiple work tasks
