Role Summary/Purpose

We are developing a wearable patient monitoring system using a proprietary 2.4 GHz medical body area network protocol. To help in testing and debugging of our protocol we develop tools and simulators, from which one is a protocol sniffer and analyzer. Your role is to use existing hardware to gather wireless data, and build software filters and tools to help in analyzing the accurateness of the protocol.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Develop a mobile system that allows gathering wireless protocol data from multiple devices

·  Develop scripts in software to manage and filter data log files

·  Analyze results based on predefined test cases

·  Propose improvements to the protocol to become more robust and efficient by balancing power and bandwidth needs
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in software engineering (or equivalent knowledge/experience)

·  Experience using scripting languages like Python

·  Experience in C and C++ programming

·  Fluency in English, both spoken and written

·  EU work permit
Desired Characteristics

·  Good understanding of wireless protocols

·  Experience using Wireshark and Lua scripting

·  Knowledge on GIT

·  Experience in analyzing log file
