Role Summary/Purpose

Healthcare is the next industry facing mobile revolution. GE Healthcare has a global center of excellence for wearable patient monitoring solutions in Helsinki. We make healthcare affordable and accessible and help healthcare providers improve patient care. We're now looking for a Master's Thesis worker to join our team developing methods for wearable monitoring of mobile patients. The purpose is to improve automatic triggering of Non-invasive Blood Pressure measurements.
Essential Responsibilities

Your role is to develop algorithms for improved automatic NIBP measurement. For studying this, volunteer measurements and existing hospital measurement data will be used.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, biomedical signal analysis or related field
·  Experience with data analysis with MATLAB and Python
·  Fluency in English, both spoken and written
·  EU work permit
Desired Characteristics

·  Experience in modeling physiological signals
·  Experience in C and C++ programming
