Essential Responsibilities

Lead global cross functional productivity projects in the Global Supply Chain (GSC) with focus around manufacturing equipment transfer, set-up and validations. Physically transfer equipment from current location, through logistics, import/export and land equipment in future location. These projects typically included in larger scope programs such as Transfer of Work (TOW) between GE manufacturing sites, manufacturing integrations and divestitures. Manage all aspects of large projects through the 5 major project management steps: initiating, planning (scoping), executing, monitoring and controlling and closing. Review engineering drawings, parts listing, process instructions and develop and manage change management strategy. Support both Agile and MyWorkshop engineering systems. Validate Process and Equipment for Medical devices as per GE Global quality procedures. Validate current test procedures and validation strategies, and modify as needed for new equipment location. Develop manufacturing process improvements to drive yield, quality and DPM through current processes. Work with new site on setting up “Oracle GLprod” ERP system for manufacturing. Set up “DataStream” system for managing equipment calibration and preventive maintenance (PM). Lead the execution of the team(s) to meet the project plans. Adjust the plan, schedule and resources as needed to meet the plan. Work with sub-teams to develop strategies for: V&V for FDA regulated processes and equipment, BOM migration and part set up, inventory, etc. Support test equipment design with AME and local site teams, ensure builds are completed from timing, cost and quality standpoint. Identify risks and take appropriate actions to avoid or mitigate the negative risks. Communicate to all organizations throughout the project lifecycle: Status, changes, impact to other organization and projects, etc. Ensure no fulfillment gaps during the project, quality and compliance are improved, project is within budget and timelines are met. Provide hand-off for manufacturing engineering future site ownership, through training and on site manufacturing support.
Qualifications/Requirements

The primary requirement are a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Engineering (any) or Manufacturing Management and seven (7) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in a related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s Degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Engineering (any) or Manufacturing Management and 5 years of experience in a related occupation is acceptable. The position also requires 3 years experience leading large, cross functional projects in the supply chain; 2 years experience with Engineering Product Data Management systems, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Requests, validation strategies, etc; and 2 years experience understanding and working with FDA or equivalent requirements in a manufacturing environment.
