Role Summary/Purpose

The job holder will support manufacturing of Wind Turbine Generator in Haiphong factory. In this role, you will provide engineering expertise during manufacturing operation including development, optimization the manufacturing process, so as to achieve: best quality, less labor time, quicker lead time for our products.

Essential Responsibilities

- Provide technical expertises / solution for daily manufacturing technical issues
- Be responsible for the manufacturing process development including BOM, MPP, and WI
- Prepare tool & fixture & equipment for production
- Participate to root cause analysis for all quality defects and/or quality findings
- Implementation of corrective action and preventative action for process quality issues
- Participate to weekly quality meeting to ensure timely resolution for quality defects
- Manufacturing cost estimation, product cost reductions efforts, and NPI projects implementation
- Perform Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing projects
- Provide technical ownership for manufacturing and testing processes and quality improvement of products
- Own or support manufacturing engineering projects requiring development of specifications, purchase, installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment
- Participate in EHS related actions to improve plant safety in all areas
- Other tasks as assigned by CoE leader

Desired profile

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited university
- Have at least three year working experience in manufacturing job
- Strong communication skill in Vietnamese and English

Desired Characteristics

- Prior experience with Lean manufacturing
- Tool or process design experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt certified is preferred
- Open & Honest and Trustworthy
- Can work individually and/or in a team and can handle high working pressure / Resilience
- Up to date technical Knowledge of the latest trends in manufacturing Technology and ability to apply and adapt
