Role Summary/Purpose

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives and have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities

·  - Ensure facility compliance in all areas of health, safety and environmental programs and procedures (EHS) including maintenance aspects of the agreement between General Electric and the owner
·  - Manage maintenance engineering section costs to meet budget requirements
·  - Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and managing workers’ activities
·  - Monitor the selection, contract placement, and ongoing control of all contractors on site
·  - Plan, coordinate, and administer maintenance outages per owner and contract requirements
·  - Train, supervise and manage employees’ activities and resources for maintenance and repair of all equipment following GE practices
·  - Execute all the activities for preventive and emergency maintenance of the facility with the general EHS rules and LOTO procedure
·  - Responsible for continuous control on building and utilities equipment status and condition (Running performance and wear and tear)
·  - Maintain status of building equipment documentation to include failure statistics and analysis
·  - Manage operations with utility service providers (industrial gases, natural gas, electricity, water)
·  - Manage and control of operation of outsourced contracted services
·  - Maintain status of building equipment documentation to include failure statistics and analysis
·  - Maintain availability on 24 hours per day call basis with backup from the facility staff
·  - Comply with company policy and process including but not limit in compliance, quality, production, EHS, HR & Admin, lean etc
·  - Other task assigned by functional or organizational supervisor(s).
Qualifications/Requirements

·  - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
·  - Over 3 years maintenance experience for effective Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic/Pneumatic equipment in plant
·  - Familiar with mechanism principle in Hydraulic and Pneumatic
·  - Familiar with Freeze system, oven equipment and pressure Vessel etc.
·  - Problem solving skill and find root cause then take preventive action
·  - Strong knowledge in how to check the output/input of PLC in CNC equipment
·  - Good reading capability for maintenance manual books in English
·  - Can various alarm for Electrical and Mechanical faults by oneself.

Desired Characteristics

·  - Prior experience in health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures is preferred
·  - Knowledge of outage planning, computerized maintenance management systems, and related computer tools and programs
·  - Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies
·  - Six Sigma training is preferred
·  - Strong oral and written communication skills
·  - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
