Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for a legal professional to join our Legal Shared Services Governance team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Americas Governance team with preparation and filing of reports and other submissions with governmental authorities, processing of legal invoices and other administrative matters. The role may expand to other areas as the scope of Legal Shared Services Governance team grows.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Prepare and file with regional governmental authorities annual reports and other filings for legal entities in the Americas, primarily in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean
·  Coordinate payment of legal providers used by the Americas Governance team
·  Coordinate external counsel engagements in Central American and the Caribbean region
·  Assist with digitization and maintenance of entity records
·  Work in a matrix environment to drive legal process improvement
·  Responsibilities will expand and evolve as incremental services move to the organization
Qualifications/Requirements

·  2-5 years in a law firm or in-house legal department supporting legal teams
·  Excellent English and Spanish skills (written and verbal)

·  Experience in corporate governance, especially with entities in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean
·  Experience interacting with governmental authorities
·  Excellent project management skills and the ability to work and balance multiple projects and initiatives
·  Experience working with document and data management systems
·  Strong ability to understand legal transactional requirements and business requirements to be able to overlay varying implications in an effort to determine optimum solutions
·  Experience creating and implementing operational processes, including system consolidations and improvements
·  Business-minded and customer-service focused
·  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
·  Experience working with virtual teams
·  Strong Microsoft Suite skills, including strong Word skills, facility with Excel data analytics, and preparation of PowerPoint presentations for diverse audiences involving visual graphics and charts
