Role Summary/Purpose
A dynamic role supporting a growing organization partnering with a variety of internal and external stakeholders that is responsible to ensure consistent implementation employment terms and HR policies. This role will be critical to provide support to the site HR Manager in driving employee relations, employee engagement and data analytics for key HR decisions.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of of data in the administration of HR database using Oracle
2. Major accountabilities including administration of government training grants, talent acquisition activity, and day to day implementation and clarification of HR policies and procedures.
3. Manage local and update global HR Systems to ensure seamless digital employee experience, eg e-leave administration, time and attendance systems
4. Partner with shared services CoEs like HR Operations and Talent Recruitment to ensure compliance and consistency in the implementation of terms and conditions of employment, onboarding experience and ensure welfare and benefits are administered in accordance with the terms and conditions of employment.
5. Act as a first point of contact for HR administrative queries and local escalations.
6. Manage key processes and liaise with third party vendors to ensure employee welfare and benefits are administered correctly such as insurance claims, contractor payments, training grants claims.
7. Any other duties as and when requested by the Company
Qualifications/Requirements
1. Minimum diploma in Human Resources, Psychology or other related social sciences
2. Demonstrated experience working effectively across with diverse populations
3. Ability to speak and write in fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia
4. Quick learner who is able to to work independently and in teams to achieve team outcomes
5. Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills including but not limited to interpersonal communication, email communication, presentations, facilitation of meetings.
6. Familiar with Microsoft Applications
7. Previous HR experience is a strongly preferred especially in HR Management Systems
