Role Summary/Purpose

The role would require the incumbent to handle Pre-payroll activities for ASEAN countries i.e. Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar and Laos. Managing various HRIS Data Management tools including Oracle HCM, SAP Business Objects, researching data issues, HCM Migration to Workday and providing support to the user population would be the key responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities

Management and review of process owners within HR Operations to extend any support and guidance required towards smooth running of the regional processes
Work closely with functional departments (e.g. Payroll, Procure to Pay, C&B, People Success, IT , T&L etc) to ensure process efficiency and accuracy of information being utilized
Partner with Compensation & Benefits to ensure that employee benefits programs are renewed and administered on a timely basis
Coordinate with local payroll for dissemination of salary or final payments
Support processing of statutory benefits for all employees in accordance with the law
Partner with the benefits vendor for measuring and executing tool enhancements for the region and lead benefits-related escalations
Propose solutions and assist in implementation/improvement of HR processes and procedures that deliver HR support to employees and managers more efficiently
Participate in projects as assigned
Manage off boarding process
Monitor the recording and use of personal information in line with local and GE Data Protection guidelines
Drive a culture of customer service excellence within the team
Qualifications/Requirements

Should have an experience of Team Management for 8+ years
Should have worked on HR Operations set up as people leader for 3+ years
Should have worked on any 2 regions from HR Operations stand point, payroll inputs consolidation and T&A management will be added advantage
Should have a sound knowledge of payroll system & functioning for ASEAN countries specially Malaysia and Vietnam.
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation and status reporting skills
Experience of a HR or Operations process ownership role in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment within a large organizatio
Demonstrated organizational skills, high standard of accuracy, an attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills
