Essential Responsibilities

The GE Aviation Engineer Program (GEAEP) will prepare you for an exciting career tackling one of the world’s toughest challenge – inventing the future of flight, lifting people up, and bringing them home safely. As an GEAEP you will:

• Work on multiple rotations over 2 years in a variety of disciplines segments.
• Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world class technologist and experienced technical managers.
• Participate in leadership development training by program members.
• Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.
• Scope A - GEAEP experience technically challenging and innovative rotations in GE Engine Services will be focusing in the areas of Quality, Engineering and Facilities & Machinery.
• Scope B - GEAEP experience technically challenging in GE Engine Services will be focusing in the areas of Configuration & Conformance Engineering; and NDT (Non Destructive Testing).
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in the Engineering majors (Aircraft Engineering Technology, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering) from an accredited university
• Min CGPA greater than or equal to 3.2/4.0 overall
Desired Characteristics

• Preference will be given to persons with 3.5/4.0 overall or higher GPA in the following majors: Aircraft Engineering Technology, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.
• NDT experience is added advantage with NAS410 and EN4179 qualification (Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Inspection)
• Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing
• Highly – motivated, energetic, confident, flexible in changing environments.
• Strong dedication to a career in technology and a real passion for engineering
• Demonstrated an analytical approach to problem solving, learning agility
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
• Demonstrated and enthusiastic leadership and team building skills
• Strong team and interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment
• Proven scholastic achievements and proactive leadership skills
