Role Summary/Purpose

In this role, the Government Account Manager will be responsible for driving the OP of the all the Diagnostic Imaging, LCS & Ultrasound products in the Government sector in the state of Karnataka. One more State will be added to the portfolio within 3-6 months after assessing the progress.
Essential Responsibilities

• Leading the assigned region for Diagnostic Imaging, US and LCS vide coordinating with Tender Executives, Modality and LCT resources to drive order and revenue growth and share gain in the Government sector Institution(s), through Opportunity Creations, Tender Participations, Competitiveness, Customer Relationships and leveraging all organizational resources.
• Creating and executing on strategic business plans in order to achieve the targets for revenues, orders and margins.
• Establishing executive relationships, and managing government contracts.
• Creating Market Intelligence and sustaining an effective understanding of current market dynamics and healthcare trends in the region.
• Special focus and drive to grow the Diagnostic Imaging Government Business manifold by driving KOL relationships in top referral Government Accounts and also developing long term relationship with large Government buying agencies.
• Experience of handling government accounts and business in past with successful track record.
• Ability to handle contracts with Government institutions and to negotiate on favorable T&Cs.
• Ability to interact and engage with policy and decision making personnel in Government sector to create Public Private Partnership projects.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of sales or equivalent experience.
• 3-4 years’ experience of managing large Govt/commercial accounts in Capex healthcare equipment selling.
• Basic Technical, Competitive & Market Knowledge on Diagnostic Imaging Products is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with hospitals and engaging with decision making bodies /CXO levels.
• Demonstrated executive level relationship building
• Excellent Leadership and peer networking skills
Desired Characteristics

• MBA/BE (or equivalent) degree from an institution of repute.
• Previous experience selling GEHC / Capital Equipment(s).
• Contract Compliance Experience.
• Negotiating Skills.
• Healthcare Finance Experience
• Project Management
• Strong Process Management Skills
• Strong writing skills (letters, e-mails, business plans, etc).
