Role Summary/Purpose

In this position you will be able to experience global engineering activities.
Essential Responsibilities

1) Execute and lead the analysis, design, test and integration of software components at different levels of complexity (unit, subsystem and system) through applying GE practices and
product/program requirements.

2) Foster technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization.

3) Understand system and product requirements. Solver major complex as a team player.

4) Translate technical issues and challenges into business level statements, report and present solutions timely.

5) Document technical data generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies and/or systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements

BS degree plus 8 years of experience or masters€™s degree plus 6 years of experience or PhD degree plus 4 years of experience, degree must be in either:
- Electronics & Communications Engineer
- Electronic Systems Engineer
- Mechatronics Engineer o Computer Science Engineering.
Effective interpersonal skills
Effective written and oral communication skills (English and Spanish)
Experience with embedded development and RTOS
C/C++ programming
Linux programming and debugging
POSIX programming
Desired Characteristics

- Agile/Scrum/Jira
- Buildroot/YOCTO development
- Python scripting
