What Impact You'll make:

As the Senior GE Vernova Energy Expert with title Customer Portfolio Manager, You will need to demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives within the greater Power Team. Responsible for the customer satisfaction for assigned contracts and customer obligations;
based on the service agreement, you will also interact with members of the Operation, parts and transactional services, inclusive of the One Field service team, and other repair service as required.
High levels of products Knowledge & Operational judgment are required to achieve the One Account Service Global Team's objectives.

Job Description

What you’ll do:

As our Senior Customer Portfolio Manager, you will:

  • Serve as a liaison between internal/external organizations and your assigned customer(s), own the customer relationship, and contribute to the overall business strategy and growth.

  • Develop and own site customer communication plan, coordinate and facilitate regular GE/Customer meetings reviewing open items and action plans and reviewing existing and new GE products/services that could provide value for the customer.

  • Oversee Gas Power warranty and applicable commercial considerations including concessions as they arise balancing maximum benefits for the customer and GE

  • Be responsible for outage/non-outage parts planning including requests for quotes, providing quotes to customers, placing/managing parts orders through delivery, and invoicing for parts as applicable.

  • Be responsible for managing the Outage planning and execution process and processing of Change Orders.

  • Provide leadership in owning and driving all emergent/forced outage matters to resolution.

  • Prepare, organize, and facilitate pre-outage planning meetings, post-outage meetings and outage milestone meetings.

  • Own contract leadership and fulfillment including all project deliverables and understanding the T&Cs and contract requirements such as LD & Bonus structure.

  • Manage Digital and Total plant solutions agreements and coordinate with functional groups.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University (OR Associates degree from a college with 2 years of experience in a power generation industry)

  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of knowledge and experience within the Power Plant / Field Repair/Technical services Industry and/or Power & Outage management experience.

Other Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel and work On-site where GE Vernova is contracted to service for to up to 80% of the time managing contractual agreements at customer locations in AB.

This role is offered Primarily at the Client Sites/ with some #Hybrid conditions/ see: Other Eligibility to travel to sites for up to 80% of the time, supporting/facing Engineering.

This role will be offered with location Alberta/Canada only. Must be legally authorized to work in Alberta, Canada with preference Edmonton.
