Role Summary/Purpose
As a Staff Data Visualization Engineer in Digital Workplace Solutions, you will work with a team to develop innovative data visualization solutions to support a broad range of data centric analytical applications. This includes a range of BI tool driving consistency in the way Digital Workplace Solutions manages assets, bills, and simplifies global operations
Essential Responsibilities
The role major responsibilities are to:
• Work with internal customers and leadership to define requirements and develop centralized solutions
• Develop customized front ends and visualizations to make data accessible and intuitive for leadership, operational teams, and customers
• Create solutions in both BI toolset and internally developed platforms for consumption on multiple device
• Develop SQL queries and jobs to drive automation and simplification
• Implement clean concise solutions that address the requirements at hand
• Few travel would be required for this position
• Position can sometimes require off-hours flexibility/ability to work across global time zones
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Master’s Degree preferred.
• Strong relevant experience
• Familiar with Business Intelligence Tools (SiSense, Tableau)
• Willingness to learn new technologies and be comfortable with change
• Familiar with Lean/Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to learn new technologies (Predix) and choose the correct tool for the job
• Demonstrated ability to create, adapt, and execute plans to unstructured and/or complex problems.
• Demonstrated ability to use relevant information to anticipate problems and weigh options and promptly address issues, persevering through challenges
• Fluent in English
