Role Summary/Purpose

The Digital Workplace Support & Services (DWSS) within CoreTech is responsible for delivering world class end user support.
In this role, you will produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our IT products and services. You will deliver user-friendly, step-by-step, and ready-to-use self-help articles that will be consumed by end-users. You will collaborate closely with end-users, L1/L2, Product & Service owners and operations.
Essential Responsibilities

You will help to communicate technical information about products and services in a way that's easy to understand. The information may be presented in the form of user guides for software applications, reference and instruction manuals for IT products, training guides and online help incorporated into self-help platform and operating guides.
As a technical author, you will establish an understanding of the product or applications and then design and write documentation to explain it to users. You may also provide this information in various other forms including software demos and interactive tutorials, using video, illustrations and graphics.
Writing skills, technical acumen, attention to detail and the ability to communicate technical solutions in a non-technical way are essential for success. 

The role will also require to:
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience 
• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides 
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications and solve their issue by themselves 
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse 
• Create and maintain the information architecture 

You will need to have:

• an ability to grasp and structure large amounts of information and anticipate the reader's knowledge gaps;

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts in Technical Writing or a related field, such as journalism or a Bachelor of Science degree in a technology-related discipline 
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail 
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures 
• Must have excellent writing and grammar skills 
• Be able to deliver accurate documentation under deadline pressure. 
• Ability to work both autonomously and in constant collaboration with product owners, operations, and end users. 
• Fluent in English 
• Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese or Chinese
