Role Summary/Purpose

The Business Analyst is a vital link to our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building and testing tasks of our software product’s features. They will use domain and business process expertise to elicit requirements from project stakeholders and convey these requirements to the Product Development Team.
Essential Responsibilities

The business analyst supports the translation of functional and nonfunctional requirements into user stories and requirements that express the business needs of the customer into the product backlog for successful project delivery. They will ensure that technical requirements for upcoming development are understood and elaborated in such a way, that the delivery team can commit to delivery with high confidence - and ensure that the delivered product meets customer expectations.

Essential Responsibilities:

·  Build a deep understanding of our customers and industry to ensure we build engaging products that meet those needs.

·  Lead business processing workshops at customer sites to fully understand business needs.

·  Strong problem-solving abilities.

·  Capture the voice of the customer to drive business process definitions and product needs.

·  Elaborate those business needs such that they can be understood by the Product Development teams and stakeholders alike.

·  Generate agreement and approval of requirements across all stakeholders, including scope and priorities.

·  Ensure the delivered solution meets the expected goals by performing user testing that represents customer use.

·  Own and deliver product demonstrations to stakeholders.

·  Own and develop relationships with other areas of the business, such as Product Management and User Experience, working with them to ensure we deliver a solution that aligns with the product design and vision.

·  Support the business on key customer bids, projects, user forums and issue resolutions.

·  Able to work under minimal supervision High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills.

·  Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.

·  Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or related degree from an accredited institution and/or equivalent knowledge & experience.

·  Relevant or proven experience in a BA role or equivalent knowledge or experience.

·  An understanding of best practice business analysis methods and tools.

·  Strong problem-solving abilities.

·  Experience working with Agile software development methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, XP).
