Role Summary/Purpose

As a Business Analyst in the Data & Analytics domain within the Budapest Digital Hub, You will work closely with the team and different GE businesses to create state-of-the-art data and analytics driven solutions. You will be a member of an integrated squad (data scientists, data engineers, software engineers and a product owner) to deliver successful outcomes driving efficiency and creating new revenue streams.
Essential Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, we need You to be able to grasp the essence of large data sets, find the rhythm and tone with all business stakeholders and the technical team, also to excel in translating business process and needs into technical aspects and structures.

Your daily work will involve:

·  Gain a solid understanding of the functions using the application and the content within it 
·  Be a key contributor to the Agile development process 
·  Help to define, elaborate on and document business requirements 
·  Help to define functional testing and then take ownership for performing it 
·  Deliver Application demoes and training 
·  Help to shape the Application going forward 
·  Work closely with the Product Manager, Web Development team and DevOps Manager
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Previous experience of working with Web Applications 
·  Ability to work independently as well collaborate with other technology teams for solutions/troubleshooting 
·  Very good communications skills 
·  Previous experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team 
·  A basic technical understanding of Web Applications architecture 
·  Knowledge of Agile development process and tools (Rally, Confluence) 
·  Basic Understanding of databases, SQL 
·  Fluent English (written and spoken) 
·  Positive attitude and team player
Desired Characteristics

·  Previous Business Analyst experience desirable but not essential 
·  Degree in information technology, mathematics, physics, engineering, economics or any related fields 
·  Exposure to Visualization software (Tableau, Spotfire etc) 
·  Basic Knowledge of AWS, Dev Ops CI/CD
