Role Summary/Purpose
As an Engineer, your role will focus on successful execution of liquid material qualifications, as per the established procedures under the supervision of technical lead. Complying with systems and procedures with regard to trace ability. Documentation updates as guided by Technical lead. Collaboration with test lab and plants for trials and report writing.
Essential Responsibilities
• Knowledge of composite material for Reinforcement and Resin systems
• Composites processing knowledge (VARTM)
• Understanding the material behavior under load, and propose analysis
• Running Physical characterization, as per the established procedures.
• Help coordinate and organize project tasks with Technical lead.
• Report writing and documentation
• Learn from on-going projects. Develop self to support other technology projects in Engineering
• Communicate progress of project tasks to the technical lead
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors or Masters in Chemical/Polymer/Material Science Engineering
3+ Years of Experience in qualification of Liquids.
Desired Characteristics
• Preferred Prior hands on work experience on wind turbine Blades & thermoplastics materials
• Processing knowledge of thermoplastics
• Structure property correlation
