Role Summary/Purpose
The Asheville Rotating Parts Quality Engineer will be involved with the product quality owner associated with the manufacturing process. Collaborates cross functionally with manufacturing team to drive process capability in order to improve delivery, inventory and cost.
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, as the Asheville Rotating Parts Quality Engineer, you will:
· Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control
· Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes
· Includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.
· Develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
· Works together with business leadership at SPB and EB level
· Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done
· Delivers products as part of a team
· Works on cross functional teams
· Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Quality
