Role Summary/Purpose

The Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator will take overall responsibility and accountability for the aircraft maintenance and record keeping of the GE CAT aircraft to which he/she is assigned. The AMC will be responsible for ensuring the aircraft is successfully launched and recovered from each flight. The AMC will work with cross functional aviation and non-aviation teams and will work autonomously with regard to day to day aircraft maintenance processes, reporting to the Director of Operations.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Plan, oversee and/or perform all scheduled and non-scheduled aircraft maintenance for the specific aircraft assigned to the AMC.  
·  Take overall responsibility for developing an integrated maintenance program plan to meet the needs of GE CAT’s commitment to the executive travelers 
·  Maintain all maintenance records as required by the FAA, GECAT’s Maintenance Operations standards & processes and the requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). 
·  Establish, manage and report budget verses actual results for the maintenance function of the assigned aircraft. 
·  Trouble shoot aircraft systems, conduct inspections, and repair aircraft in timely manner. Provide technical guidance to Pilots, Flight Techs, Flight Attendants, etc.  
·  Define maintenance work scopes & schedules with vendors consistent with GE-CAT’s fiscal and schedule availability requirements.  
·  Review all vendor invoices for accuracy prior to processing for payment. 
·  File and submit all warranty maintenance program claims  
·  Develop, publish and maintain a rolling three (3) year maintenance plan and fiscal forecast for all Intermediate and heavy maintenance events. Submit maintenance plans to Director of Operations for one over one approval as required 
·  Maintain a current ninety (90) day ‘Due List’.
• Develop a Work Scope for each Intermediate and Heavy maintenance event in conjunction with the 3rd party maintenance vendor.  
·  Identify and vet suitable maintenance vendors in conjunction with the GE-CAT’s Director of Operations. 
·  Order parts and other consumable materials used during ‘Line Maintenance’. Maintain an accurate physical inventory of all rotable parts, consumable materials and supplies necessary to support the efficient and effective operation of the assigned aircraft. 
·  Maintain a FAA airframe & power plant certificate 
·  Emphasize ’just safety culture’ in all operations 
·  Asssist with the documentation and analysis of all component part and systems failure in accordance with regulatory and company requirements  
·  Lead and champion continuous process improvements to maintenance, inspection and training programs which may improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of GE-CAT aircraft maintenance 
·  Insure all company assets are properly protected
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree or equivalent;  
·  FAR Part 91 Maintenance operations leadership experienced as defined by the Director of Operations 
·  Minimum 10 years’ experience functioning as a FAA Licensed A&P Technician on Executive Turbine Powered Aircraft.  
·  Minimum 2 years functioning as a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead

Desired Characteristics

·  10 plus year experience in maintenance of Bombardier, Agusta, Honda Jet aircraft. 
·  Engine run and taxi qualified 
·  Current Inspection Authorization certification (IA) 
·  Two (2) years of avionics maintenance experience 
·  Five (5) years of Maintenance management experience 
·  Expert technical knowledge of all aircraft systems 
·  Experience in vendor negotiations and contracting 
·  Experience in leading teams of engineers and technical personal to positive, productive outcomes 
·  Advance fault diagnosis of engines, airframe and systems in aircraft  
·  Strong mentor and developer of maintenance personnel 
·  Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook 
·  Experienced working with Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP) Leadership Competencies 
·  Strong communication skills (verbal and written) 
·  Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills 
·  Well-developed customer service attitude and interface skills 
·  Self-directed performer with well-developed personal initiative 
·  Strong influencing skills both within and external to the aircraft maintenance organization  
·  Well-developed communications skills with internal and external customers, peers, vendors and professional colleagues in the Business Aviation profession.  
·  Be able to perform, lead and follow in team environments working collaboratively to produce positive outcomes Work effectively, at times unsupervised, in remote locations in accordance with GE CAT’s duty standards and fiscal policies  
·  Ability to travel to both foreign and domestic locations as required, in support of company needs. Work schedules will vary depending upon the aircraft’s schedule.
