The internship will take place in the Security Labs department. Our team called “Advanced Cryptography” is responsible for studying advanced cryptographic primitives such as homomorphic encryption, whitebox cryptography, post-quantum cryptography (lattices, error-correcting codes, hash functions, multivariate cryptography), blockchain technologies. Besides this mission, the advanced cryptographic team provides expertise in cryptography within the security laboratory and to all Business groups of Gemalto.

A week in the life of

a Post-Quantum Cryptography trainee :

• you will work on the analysis of research papers on side-channel analysis and fault attacks against post-quantum cryptographic schemes such as https://eprint.iacr.org/2015/1083.pdf.
• you will contribute to the identification of new attack paths
• you will contribute to the design of countermeasures

Profil recherché

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

You have good knowledge in Cryptography.
We would appreciate if you have knowledge in side-channel analysis and post-quantum cryptography
You need to be fluent in English, have good communication skills and autonomy.
You must be a student in Computer Science: Master 2 or last year engineering school.
