Internship: IT Service Management – Reporting and data collection

In 2018 Gemalto Datacenter Operations will be responsible for the deployment of an ITSM(1) tool to support his Core Missions.

Datacenter Operations is currently managing data collection in several systems to provide metrics and KPIs to allow the proper follow-up of Service Management activities.

The main objective of the internship is to handle the required change in order for the metrics and KPIs to be collected and presented thanks to new new ITSM software availability.

Within Datacenter Operations team support the Internship owner will handle a sub-project addressing metrics and KPIS data collection and publication.

1) Topics to be addressed

a. Datacenter Operations context learning

b. ITSM project understanding (capability to manage a sub-project in terms of task design)

c. Current metrics and KPIs understanding

d. Propose a plan including methodology and tools to migrate metric and KPIs data collection from the current to the new system

e. Design a pilot, Build the pilot

f. Document all activities handled during the Internship

Profil recherché

Qualifications :

The candidate shall have interest and some skills in:

- IT generic topics, basic Linux knowledge

- Website design and build (Drupal)

- Data Extraction (ETL), SQL

Good Autonomy and/or project management notions will be appreciated.
