Client services engineer

Under general supervision provides technical support to customers, answering moderately complex questions on function and usage of product via the telephone and/or Internet. Serves as primary support liaison between company and customer. Conveys customer feedback to product development staff. Possesses thorough knowledge of company's products used by customers. Responsible for resource planning and allocation, managing customer expectations and project deliverables, and providing cross-functional escalation and communication.

A week in the life of a client services engineer:
· You will be required to ensure timely and quality releases by working closely with engineering, services operations, program management and other relevant groups.
· You will own and manage the product backlog.
· You will work closely with architects and engineering teams to ensure requirements are well understood.
· You will participate in and drive agile methodology.
· You will be required to ensure good usability and user experience.
· You will work with rest of the product management organization and BU stakeholders to define the product roadmap.
· You will research on latest industry trends and competitive innovations to recommend the product evolution.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
·  To do this job, you must have strong technical skills working knowledge in both Unix/Linux and Windows. You should also have Computer networking knowledge. This role essentially requires Minimum 2 years programming experience in C/C++ or C#.
·  You must be fluent in Japanese and English.
·  We would like someone to join our team who is customer focus and is able to learn and integrate new technologies in a fast-paced environment, and also can be good at writing sample code to demonstrate.
·  You need to have Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and experience. BSEE or BSCS, MCSE, CCIE or equivalent preferred
·  We are looking for someone with 2 years industry experience working in a customer support role, providing technical application support, in-depth trouble-shooting and diagnostics, and development in the area of programming
