Job description

As Business Services Specialist, Applicant Systems for the Applicant Processing System Sales & Customer Maintenance Service Team located in Pasadena, you will review and prepare customer sales quotations, sales orders and invoices for all maintenance renewal customers in the USA. You will also manage customer records in our designated ERP and CRM systems while helping to produce and maintain weekly departmental performance metrics. You will be communicating regularly with external Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and internal Accounting teams on customer related contract maintenance and sales related inquiries. This important role supports a dedicated team and other company stakeholders that secure the digital lives of millions of people in the USA.

A week in the life of an Applicant Sales & Maintenance Service Specialist
· You will create sales quotes and process both sales orders and invoices for Gemalto Cogent applicant fingerprinting system customers throughout North America using SAP Business One.
· You will communicate with Technical Support and Service Departments to validate and resolve warranty/maintenance claims and renew support service agreements via Salesforce and email.
· You will design and maintain sales reports for various Gemalto Cogent Livescan programs, including Ohio National Webcheck (NWC) and California Department of Justice (Cal-DOJ) Applicant Peer systems, and monitor and update quarterly renewal listings.
· You will provide leads and sales opportunities to Sales organization for customer equipment upgrades.
· You will work with Finance/Accounting departments to research customer accounts in order to identify and resolve potential discrepancies.
· You will identify and analyze internal processes in order to increase overall efficiency and create additional revenue-generating opportunities.
· You will help track and analyze customer maintenance renewal contracts by working closely with both internal and external contract maintenance and sales team stakeholders.
· You will provide relevant metrics to help increase visibility of customer sales and maintenance status while promoting departmental accountability and performance.
· You will make effective use of existing ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP-B1 and SalesForce, while supporting departmental adoption of new Enterprise Resource Planning Tools.
· You will handle other ad hoc projects needed to support US/North America sales/business operations.

Qualifications :

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·  Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Communications or a related field.
·  Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
·  3 years of experience in finance, billing, sales, or customer service.
·  Professional knowledge of SAP Business One, Oracle, Salesforce, or other ERP/CRM software preferred.
·  Critical thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail a must.
·  The ideal candidate will be a motivated and versatile team player, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely, professional manner as well as suggest and implement internal process improvements
