Our Research & Development China Division is looking for a Hardware Designer for its site at Shanghai (China).
The Hardware Designer assist EEPL-TCI for all electrical and electronics (E/E) related customer activities, including new and sustain programs for Seat Electronics tasks.
The main missions of the role are to:
Design HW blocks and make justification
Assist EEPL-TCI to generate technical proposals per customer SOR;
Conduct the ECU benchmarks for new customer and program development;
Support customer quality activities to conduct on-field EE-ECU testing and troubleshooting under TCI and E/E Design team’s instruction;
Support developing embedded system for seat electronic control modules (ECU) at initial concept stage or prototype level for Seat Electronics.
Technical responsibilities:
HW schematic and layout design
Is responsible to conduct basic E/E test, benchmark and prototype build using E/E lab tools.
Have basic knowledge of electrical hardware and electrical circuit theory as it relates to embedded controls;
Have basic knowledge with vehicle networking (CAN/LIN) and electrical system set up, debug and integration.
Hands-on experience to build up lab-level mock-up or prototypes.
Experience using CANalyzer and other Vector tools is preferred.
Is responsible for technical report (MS-Word) and presentation (MS-PPT).
The length of the VIE is 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master degree in Engineering is required.
International mind set.
Good Communication and Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
PC knowledge (MS Office, MS Project)
Hands-on experience on E/E testing (necessary training will be provided.)
