Fast-track Diagnostics develops and commercializes multiplex real time PCR (RT-PCR) assays to detect a wide range of viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites. We have recently introduced a range of lyophilised tests. We are ISO 13485 certified with most tests having a CE certificate. Our kits are used in all size labs, in the public and private sectors. FTD has a global distributor network as well as some direct sales, particularly to research programs. Quality, innovation and excellent customer support are our key objectives. Currently, we are looking to recruit a: Biologist / Chemist / Biochemist (M/F) Your responsibilities: Work as a member of the research team assigned to specific development projects; Create and/ or develop new products, or improve/ modify existing products; Perform product testing and evaluation using scientific principles; Plan projects, develop schedule and provide interim status reports; Work with external collaborators; Document all stages of development and modifications in compliance with R&D procedures. Your profile: PhD as Biologist /Chemist or Biochemist; Extensive experience with Real time PCR; Experience in life sciences industry will be an advantage; Good command in MS office; fluency in English; knowledge of German and/ or French is preferable; High flexibility; Motivation to work in an international team.
