Job summary:

The Project Manager – Strategic Projects (Campus New Hire Career Development) manages the Information Security Career Development Program for hired university and college graduates.  The candidate will manage a career development program for new and experienced hires (but new to information security) within the Global Information Security organization, act as the liaison with EY Executive and regional Recruiting teams including EY National Campus Recruiting Program on behalf of Information Security and assist in the recruiting of students and recent graduates by defining job requirements, skills, and a key reviewer in all candidate applications.

 

The responsibilities in this role include working with the EY National Campus Recruiting Program in developing relationships with key universities focusing on Cybersecurity degree programs, develop college career day materials for recruiting teams to leverage, building an effective development program for new hires, and evaluating junior candidates. This role willwork with Executive Recruiting/Talent acquisitions on location analysis to determine other countries and locations globally and build the program there.Ultimately, you will ensure we attract and hire high-potential employees and build a strong employer brand among college communities focusing on the recruiting needs of Information Security.

 

This role will oversee the management of recruiting individuals into the Information Security Program focusing on campus hires and guiding them through a development program managed by the Career Development Lead.  The program is aimed at advancing an individual’s skillet in information security and professional/business development.  The campus hire program will emphasize experiential growth through a rotational program throughout several of the groups within the Information Security organization.  This role will also manage the internship program offered by Information Security.

Key responsibilities:

· 
Drives and delivers against Info Sec’s strategic initiatives and leads the implementation of the Campus Hire and Career development program working in partnership with our Executive Talent and Recruitment Teams globally.

· 
Supports the interaction with business stakeholders to gather, understand, document and support all business requirements relevant to the campus program and development.

· 
Collaborating with the EY National Campus Recruiting Program, and other relevant local campus recruiting programs based on location / country for campus hires and interns focusing on cybersecurity skillsets

· 
Managing the information security development program for campus and experienced hires

· 
Brief and educate recruiting teams

· 
Attendance at campus career events

· 
Participate in interview process

· 
Report on recruiting metrics after career events, including number of candidates interviewed and hired

· 
Assist the EY National Campus Recruiting Program in establishing key relationships with university career counselors at targeted universities with recognized Cybersecurity program

· 
Provide informative materials about our firm, organization, and development program

· 
Liaise with team leaders to define hiring needs and update the development program based on leadership input as well as input from employees who went through the program

· 
Build and maintain good relationships with universities and other educational institutions 

Knowledge, skills, and experience

Technical Skills and Background:

· 
Previous project management experience, ideally with a recruitment and/or career development focus

· 
Preferable to have knowledge and experience in the technology industry. 

Non-Technical Skills and Background:

· 
Must possess excellent leadership and stakeholder relationship management skills to successfully engage and interact with strategic business partners.

·  Experience of working within complex, matrixed multi-location teams
·  Experience with project management methodology, tools and templates (includes program planning, schedule development, scope management and cost management)
· 
This person must be organized, have excellent written, speaking and presentation skills, and possess interpersonal relationship skills building exceptional trust with university students.

· 
Flexibility, high energy, and a positive attitude is required. 

Other Requirements:

 

Some travel is required for this position.  In general, the person in this role may expect 10-15 travel itineraries a year as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree preferred.

Experience:

7+ years of practical experience in the field of project management, technical recruiting, career development or professional services working in or supporting the technology employment market. Preferred focus on sourcing underclassmen, recent graduates and early career changers.
