The opportunity

The financial services industry is currently facing various challenges dictated by the market situation, hence the focus in the financial sector (banking, insurance, asset management) to reduce costs and cope with a regulatory push, while achieving profitable growth and promoting innovation. Furthermore, emerging technologies, and the increasing use of mobile devices, continue to develop rapidly.
Our Cyber Security, IT Advisory, IT Risk & Assurance, and Data & Analytics teams within EY Advisory Financial Services, provide independent business & IT advice to our clients in the financial sector, and work as part of the wider international EMEIA network.

Cyber Security
Our professionals in Cyber Security help organizations address the challenge of managing IT risks. We offer tailored services, covering security program management, threat & vulnerability management, resilience & business continuity, identity & access management and information privacy, …

IT Advisory
Our IT Advisory team focusses on client challenges to help deliver improved business performance by addressing the IT and business agenda together with them.
They work directly with CIOs to create a more effective IT organization. This allows IT to drive process efficiencies throughout the organization, and better support and deliver IT and business transformation.

IT Risk & Assurance
Bridging the gap between Business and IT is the goal of our IT Risk & Assurance professionals. They deliver assessments, transformations and assurance solutions for a broad range of clients in the financial sector. The team improves business performance by addressing the IT agenda from a risk management point of view.

Big Data & Advanced Analytics
Our Data & Analytics (DnA) professionals are working collaboratively with our clients on engagements, within teams of data analysis resources dealing with all aspects of design and delivery of information solutions. The needs of our clients are driven by global trends such as big data, cloud computing, disparate data volumes and the increased complexity of data structures.

To qualify for these roles you must have
· A Bachelor or Master Degree in IT, Informatics, Computer Sciences, Data Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a field related to Technology, ICT or IT
· Fluency in Dutch and/or French, with proficient level of business English
· Good communication skills
· Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy
· A keen interest to learn more about the Financial Services market in Belgium and beyond
· For Cyber Security: knowledge of common vulnerability assessments (Nessus, Qualys, …), IT technologies (databases, operating systems, networks) and IT processes (change management, access management, incident management) is an asset.
