The opportunity
 

As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in the HSE team, you will help clients understand and address their HSE issues strategically helping them to advance their HSE performance. You will work closely with our team leaders and clients to design and implement the right solution based on leading models, frameworks and technology.

Your key responsibilities
 
You will work as part of a leading and multidisciplinary team across a range of industries, assisting organisations to transform how they approach HSE. This will include contributing to strategy, risk management, culture change, leadership, analytical frameworks and tools to help clients succeed and navigate complex regulatory environments.

 
Skills and attributes for success
·  Have strong project management experience and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and deadlines
·  You will possess team work and problem solving skills, lateral thinking as well as great attention to detail
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver exceptional quality technical reports and proposals
·  Demonstrate outstanding time management skills and have a strong sense of business acumen.

 
To qualify for the role you must have
·  Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and management systems as well as a good understanding of HSE issues across sectors
·  One – four years’ HSE experience in either the professional services/consulting industry or equivalent operational HSE experience
 
Ideally, you’ll also have
·  Experience in implementing HSE audit programs (Ideally large scale audit programs)
·  Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, environmental or health sciences (including psychology), human factors, safety science, or business will be highly regarded.
·  Knowledge and experience in the application of HSE culture solutions to advance HSE culture maturity
·  Exemplar Global auditor or relevant Certificate IV qualifications are desirable.
