As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. Job Summary:

As Communications Supervising Associate, you'll help design, develop and manage external communications for the US-Central Region’s markets, practices or for other internal clients. You'll support the region’s go-to-market marketing and strategic communications, and coordinate specific activities. In this role, you'll receive general supervision, and be expected to work independently, sometimes managing the work of others.

Key Responsibilities:


·  Support public relations in alignment with the firm and region’s overall strategy
·  Build positive relationships with journalists (digital, broadcast and print) to gain positive exposure for the firm
·  Promote EYthrough media briefings, news releases, social media channels, speaking opportunities, bylines and articles
·  Produce appropriate communications by engaging with subject matter experts, writing and editing materials, and getting reviews and approvals
·  Work hand-in-hand with EY’s US marketing professionals to develop compelling messaging and identify media channels that are critical to our audiences
·  Help manage the budget for communications initiatives
·  Act as project manager for medium/large communications initiatives, generally under the direction of the leader
·  Manage external agencies to deliver against communications goals 

 

To qualify, candidates must have:


·  English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
·  Demonstrated teamwork ability
·  Excellent project management skills
·  Demonstrated understanding of advanced communications and marketing principles and concepts
·  Solid understanding of the media (required) and its coverage of theconsumer, automotive, manufacturing, and/or real estate industries (desired)
·  Social media fluency and experience integrating social media into media relations plans
·  A minimum of 5 years communications or marketing experience
·  Experience working with national media
·  A Bachelor's degree, with a Marketing or Communications major
