Job description

Business Advisor, Performance Improvement (PI) (Wealth & Asset Management) – Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Charlotte, NC.
 
Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, and design and execute operating models to help Wealth and Asset Management clients identify, assess, manage, measure and transform their organizations' performance and capabilities. Document findings and prepare recommendations to implement new systems, procedures, and organizational changes. Assess unit functions, operating models, program management, and technology strategy and recommend solutions.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the financial services industry. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of work experience in the financial services industry.

Must have 3 years of experience working at a professional services firm or financial services company, or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company.

Must have 4 years of experience working in a wealth management firm, private bank, investment management firm, or capital markets firm; in the alternative, must have 3 years of experience working as a consultant to one of these companies.

Must have 3 years of experience working with a team through all phases of the initiative lifecycle.

Must have 3 years of experience researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.

Must have 3 years of experience with at least 4 of the following:
- Investment products (all asset classes)
- Product development
- Advisory model and advisor support
- Financial planning and advice
- Retirement planning/trust services
- Development of multi-phase roadmaps and/or operating models
- Regulatory, compliance, and risk management

Must have 3 years of project lifecycle experience with at least 4 of the following:
- Business Requirements
- Business and technology architecture design
- Business and IT process reengineering
- Program/project management and implementation planning (PMO)
- System selection and implementation support
- Data mapping and conversion
- Proof of concept
- Quality assurance and testing

Must have 3 years of project experience with at least 4 of the following:
- Implementing front office wealth management advisory platforms
- Implementing financial and retirement planning platforms
- Implementing operational risk technology in a wealth management environment
- Evaluating and selecting a broad spectrum of wealth management point solutions across multiple client segments
- Architecting complex and comprehensive wealth management platforms with multiple software solutions
- Requirements and implementation in performance measurement client data

Requires travel up to 80% of which 25% may be international, in order to meet client needs.
