Job description

Advisory Services is a fast-moving, high-growth service area with huge potential. It offers variety, challenge, responsibility and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. While our Advisory team comprises two main businesses – Performance Improvement and RISK – we serve our clients by building integrated teams from each of these two areas. We help clients to drive business-led and technology-enabled transformation across a broad range of business issues. We are committed to “building a better working world” with a focus on improving business performance and managing risk.

When you’re on our Advisory team, you specialize in a particular area – RISK and Performance Improvement. You also have the opportunity to work across disciplines with professionals who have broad industry sector experience and deep subject-matter knowledge. In Advisory, our growth strategy focuses on being account-centric, issue-based and competency-driven. That’s what differentiates Ernst & Young in the Advisory marketplace.

Our Risk team helps clients evaluate, understand and address compliance, financial, operational and strategic risks. We provide services such as enterprise risk management, internal audit and internal controls, and risk transformation.

Our Information Technology Risk and Assurance team delivers world-class information technology advice as part of our broader risk and business improvement services by helping clients leverage technology to make IT more efficient and manage the security risks associated with running IT operations. Information technology is a key enabler, and we’re integrating information technology into our Advisory transformation engagements. We provide services such as financial audit information technology integration, third party reporting, information technology risk advisory, information management and analysis and information security.

At EY, we believe your career is a journey and we are committed to providing you an array of exciting opportunities to help you find the career path that is right for you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to team with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and to actively participate in a rapidly growing practice. You will work on client assignments in assortment of industries and functional areas that will help you deepen and broaden skills, while gaining valuable and rewarding experiences during your first few years. Irrespective of the track you choose to pursue, there is an expectation that all Staff accepted into core RISK will have an interest in broad exposure in the intersection of all ITRA and Risk capabilities, which will provide a great foundation for a successful career in consulting.

With each engagement, you can expect to build leadership, communication, and client-management skills, as well as sharpen your problem-solving capabilities.
