Job Summary:

As a Thermal Designer you will support the development of our Ericsson’s world leading microwave mobile backhaul products.

We develop both indoor and outdoor equipment. We are now looking for a candidate that will work to ensure the continued high quality of our products both from a thermal and a mechanical point of view. We do this by using state of the art software. The candidate also take pride in ensuring the quality of the simulations conducted by performing verification measurement to learn and develop the simulation skills and quality.

Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

·  Participating in all product development phases from pre study to end of life.
·  Perform fluid and thermal analysis of our products.
·  Perform structural analysis of deformation on our products.
·  Currently used tools:
·  ANSYS software such as ICEPAK and Mechanical
·  CREO Simulate
·  Perform verifications and measurements
·  Cooperation with several different disciplines such as:
·  Product Management
·  Electrical Design
·  Mechanical Design
·  Manufacturing
·  Global Suppliers
·  External R&D partners
·  Customers

Key Qualifications:

·  Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. In Mechanical Engineering or similar.
·  Min years of experience: 2 years in relevant field.
·  Good knowledge of thermodynamics and structural analysis.

It's also an advantage to have experience in:

·  Education: Specialization in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics or relevant field
·  Experience in using ANSYS software’s such as ICEPAK or similar
·  Experience in structural analysis
